About IranStrike

What is IranStrike?

IranStrike is a free, real-time conflict monitoring dashboard that helps civilians stay informed about security situations across the Middle East. It aggregates verified reports from open-source intelligence (OSINT) channels and displays them on an interactive tactical map, providing a clear picture of ongoing events as they unfold.

How It Works

IranStrike continuously monitors six verified Telegram OSINT channels that are recognized for their accuracy and editorial standards. These channels include professional breaking news services, military OSINT analysts, and official alert systems.

Every few minutes, new reports are collected and analyzed by an AI classification system that extracts structured data from each message: event type (strike, interception, drone launch, troop movement), severity level, geographic origin, and involved parties. Classified events are then displayed on the live tactical map within minutes of the original report.

In addition to event tracking, IranStrike monitors infrastructure status across conflict zones. Internet connectivity and cellular network availability are tracked through the IODA (Internet Outage Detection and Analysis) project and Cloudflare Radar, providing early warning indicators of infrastructure disruptions that often accompany military activity.

Data Sources and Methodology

IranStrike aggregates data exclusively from credible, verified sources. Every channel included in the monitoring pipeline has been individually vetted for editorial standards, accuracy track record, and neutrality. State-controlled media and propaganda channels are explicitly excluded.

AI classification uses structured prompts to ensure consistent event categorization. Human-curated country summaries provide additional context and analysis that goes beyond automated classification.

Coverage

IranStrike monitors military and security events across six primary zones: Israel, Iran, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Yemen. The dashboard covers the full spectrum of the regional conflict, including missile and rocket attacks, drone operations, air defense interceptions, ground force movements, and naval incidents.

Created By

IranStrike was created by Shahaf Nahmias, a software engineer based in Israel. The project was built to provide transparent, real-time awareness of the security situation using publicly available data.

If you find IranStrike useful, you can help cover server costs. The dashboard costs approximately $5/day to operate.
